About Fragment
Fragment is an enterprise AI company built to carry out the complex procurement work that keeps large manufacturers, distributors and energy businesses supplied and operating. Starting with direct procurement, its Autonomous Context Engine connects company data, policies and institutional knowledge so agents can investigate purchasing and payment exceptions and execute authorized resolutions across existing systems. Fragment reduces the manual burden on procurement teams and helps businesses increase operating capacity without a proportional increase in administrative work. The company has raised $56 million to date from investors including 8VC, General Catalyst and A*, with angel backing from Roelof Botha, Nikesh Arora, Jeff Wilke, Eric Wu, and Dennis Cinelli. Its ambition is to become a trusted foundation for autonomous execution across the world’s largest enterprises.

Pranav Mulgund
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
Pranav Mulgund is co-founder and CEO of Fragment, an enterprise AI company building autonomous systems for complex operational work. Before Fragment, Pranav led product at AI startup Mindy and at Zoom, where his work spanned product development, procurement and sourcing, and corporate finance. Pranav also grew up in a manufacturing family, where supply chains and production were part of everyday life. That combination gave him firsthand experience with both building enterprise software and the operational complexity it needs to navigate. At Fragment, he is bringing those experiences together to build AI that can take on the messy, cross-system work that keeps large enterprises running.

Naveen Kashyap
Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer
Naveen Kashyap is co-founder and CTO of Fragment, where he leads the development of the company’s AI agent architecture and Autonomous Context Engine. He has been building with generative AI since the GPT-3 era, working across AI research, infrastructure and production enterprise systems. Before Fragment, he helped build and scale an enterprise applied-AI platform, experience that exposed a fundamental limitation of enterprise AI: even increasingly capable models struggle when they lack the context needed to understand how a company actually operates. At Fragment, Naveen is building the infrastructure around AI agents that allows them to discover that context, reason across fragmented systems and reliably execute complex work in production.
